Change of Theme (redux)
J. • 08 March 2006 • site updates
Dear Unknown Friend,
I have once again changed themes. The new theme is called Modern, and I rather like it. It is not of my design. It is perhaps the cleanest and most readable theme I have ever seen. The quentin theme is broken, which is disappointing.

how xam-like it is in here (looks around while wandering through your blog-halls in quietness..) it’s like it’s snowed in here, and the minimal furniture is so ‘ikea’ of you!
who knew!
actually, i like it, i know you’ll prbly change it here soon, but it does work well and not an overused layout that is all too predictable.
how like you!
You’re such a contradiction sometimes…

Well,
Against my own prohibition otherwise, I have added music to the site, so it is not quite so ikea anymore.

We are not pleased - we are not pleased to perform back flips to comment, but it’s your rules - so I can accept this as the cost of adding words to your space (no score).
I like this style – it is pleasingly efficient (+5).
What pleases me less to be ambushed by auto playing music (-2). Fortunately the source offending sound can be identified quickly (+1) and shut off. It’s also far from the worst choice of sound – I don’t mind classical sounds from time to time (+0). Now if it didn’t START over every time I navigated to a new page (-2).

You know - I was thinking of setting the auto start flag to off, but now knowing that it troubles you so, I might just enjoy keeping the flag to on.

Don’t forget to set your RSS to Summary mode (keep it short) - force mortals to load your pages.
