300 years ago brilliant minds created a series of experience (we call them Degrees) capable of speaking to, and invigorating the soul of men. Since that time, the technology of man has advanced. The technology of the soul remains the same. When looking to revamp our experience, do not succumb to the belief that our soul and our technology advance at the same pace. The great irony of masonic philosophy – in my not so humble opinion – is that the beginning and the end, the alpha and the omega, are one in the same. Had we only had our eyes open at the start, we would discover the journey was unnecessary, we had everything all along – and yet, we needed the journey to be able to understand that.
